The control / adjustment guideline



Camshafts

1. wrench (for turning the camshafts)

Control

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set cylinder 1 to 20 ?� after TDC. Note: in this position (20 ?� ATDC) can rotate the camshafts at the removed control circuit without contact with the base of the valve piston.
2. Remove the cylinder head cover.
3. Lock the camshafts. To do this, enter the locking pins (01) through the hole (arrow) in the camshaft bearing caps 1 and 6 in the flange of camshafts. If you can not insert the locking pins, adjust the basic position of the camshaft.

A warning

The engine capacity of 2.2 liters, turn the camshaft about the intake camshaft gear (75) to "spat" (late) to the stop in the direction of rotation of the camshaft (arrow).



Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The cylinder 1 is at 20 ?� after TDC ignition and remove the cover of the cylinder head.
2. Remove the front cover.
3. Remove the chain tensioner.
4. Remove the exhaust camshaft gear wrench with T40 nozzle, hold the camshaft at hexagon. Remove the camshaft gears.
5. Remove the control circuit to the exhaust camshaft gear.
6. Turn the camshafts with a wrench as long as you can enter the fastening pins.
7. Install the sprocket and place the chain.
8. Install the chain tensioner.
9. Once again check the basic position of the camshaft. If necessary, repeat the adjustment.
10. Install the front cover of camshafts.
11. Install the cylinder head cover.
