Check and adjust the accelerator pump



Adjusting the accelerator pump

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the air filter.
  2. Click several times on the lever throttle control; while two sprays of the accelerating pump should go jet fuel.
  3. If not, clean the nozzles, wash them with gasoline and blow compressed air and check the condition of the diaphragm, which must be intact, with no damage (with accelerator pump assembly point the conical coil spring small diameter side of the diaphragm).
  4. Move the actuator to the throttle stop adjusting screw amount of a mixture of idling throttle control; thus accelerating pump lever should barely touch the plunger.
  5. If necessary, the nut 1, which determines the start of the fuel supply pump accelerator until you get the desired result.
  6. Adjusting screw 2 Fuel Achieve gap between it and the cover of the accelerator pump is within ?� 0.2 mm 3.5, thus providing the required fuel supply pump provided uniform supply of fuel spray it.
  7. In case of doubt in the correct performance of the accelerating pump, remove the carburetor.
  8. Secure the tank with fuel in the carburetor 2 m above the tank and attach the hose to the inlet fitting of the carburetor.
  9. Place the beaker on a carburettor and check the performance of the accelerating pump for one cycle, moving slowly a few times to lock lever throttle. To increase the capacity of the pump, remove the adjusting screw 1 to decrease - screw it.
