Engine cooling system
All models are covered in this manual are equipped with car running at a pressure of the engine cooling system with thermostatically controlled circulation of the working fluid. Water pump rotor type is fixed to the engine block and provides pumping coolant through the cooling path of the latter. The liquid flow washes the area of location of each of the cylinders in the block and is sent to the rear of the engine. Paved in molding block and the cylinder head cooling channels provide intensive cooling of the intake and exhaust ports, areas of installation of spark plugs and exhaust valve guides.
Voskozapolnenny thermostat controls engine operating temperature during its heating. In the first minutes after a cold start thermostat remains closed, thus preventing the circulation of the coolant through the radiator. When the temperature of the engine reaches normal operating temperature, the thermostat valve opens, connecting the radiator to the cooling circuit for maximum heat removal rate of the working fluid (coolant).
The cooling system has a sealed structure and covered with a lid radiator capable of withstanding a certain excess pressure, which increases the boiling point of the coolant and, accordingly, the efficiency of heat removal through the radiator. If you exceed the internal pressure in the system of a certain value, the spring-loaded plate built in the radiator cap relief valve lifted above his seat, providing a flow of excess coolant TIE (overflow) tube into the surge tank. As the cooling system fluid automatically returns from the tank into the radiator.
Topping up the coolant in the system is made through the mouth of a broad tank which simultaneously also serves as the receiver accumulates displaced by excess fluid from the radiator.
Due to these design features, the system is called closed cooling as it excludes any functional loss of coolant. Heating System
The main components of the heating system is an electric passenger compartment fan and a heat exchanger located in the box-shaped casing of a heater. The heat exchanger through rubber hoses connected to the engine cooling system. The control unit is functioning heater / air conditioner mounted in the dashboard of the car. Preheat the engine coolant circulates through the heater heat exchanger, giving its heat to the air filling out the casing. When the passenger compartment heating plate valve opening takes place, resulting in the internal volume of the housing heater is connected to the interior volume. When you turn on the fan impeller starts to chase the latest in interior air is fed through a heat exchanger, providing its intensive warming.
The air conditioning system
The functional and schematic diagram of the air conditioning system is shown in the accompanying illustrations.
The system includes a condenser mounted in front of the radiator, located next to the evaporator coil heater mounted on the engine block compressor and receiver drier (battery) equipped with high-pressure relief valve. All components are interconnected refrigerator lines.
The fan drives away in the passenger compartment air through the evaporator operating mode, the reverse mode of operation of the radiator. Is pumped through a heat exchanger refrigerant boils and evaporates, the air takes away excess heat. The temperature inside the cabin at the same time is reduced to the desired comfort value (by operator). The compressor maintains refrigerant circulating in the system by pumping a heated fluid through a condenser where it is cooled and fed back to the evaporator.
| Considered in this manual cars are equipped with additional safety SRS, better known as the airbag. Before performing any work near the assembly pads or steering column, without fail disconnect system to avoid injury due to accidental its activation, - disconnect the battery first negative, then positive cable and wait at least two minutes before start service components located near the sensors directed overloads (see chap. Onboard electric equipment). Insulation and wiring connectors of chain SRS painted in bright yellow color. Do not connect the circuit to any diagnostic tools! |
