Removing and installing condenser K / V

The air conditioning system is constantly under high pressure. In no case do not disconnect refrigerator lines and do not remove any components without first running the last discharge. Discharge the air conditioning system should be carried out by experienced specialist in the workshop car service. When disconnecting refrigeration lines, always wear protective goggles!

When replacing components of the air conditioning system will require a certain amount of replaceable refrigerator oil needed to fill the volume of the new node. Use only oils that are suitable for use in an R-134a (carefully read the label on the container).

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make a discharge of an air conditioning system in a specialist workshop.
2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
If installed on the car stereo is equipped with a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action! Drain the cooling system (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance).

3. Disconnect the two refrigerated condenser line. Immediately plug the open ends of the lines and fittings in order to avoid falling in the dirt and moisture.

4. Remove the heat sink (see. Section Removal and installation of a radiator and a broad tank of system of cooling).
5. Remove the screws of the condenser.
6. Tilt the condenser assembly back and remove it from the engine.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is in the reverse order. When installing a new condenser fill it with 30 ÷ 50 ml of fresh coolant.
2. Make the recharge system in a specialist workshop.
