5 - Generator (pictured is not visible)

The structure consists of electrical motor components ignition systems, charging and starting. Because these systems are directly related to the operation of the engine, they are considered separately from the rest of the on-board electrical equipment, such as lighting and signal lights, control devices, etc., placement, construction and principles of operation of which is devoted to the Head the Onboard electric equipment.

When servicing the electrical system components should take special precautions to avoid the risk of failure of the semiconductor elements, and in order to avoid making the eletkrotravm.

Getting to the maintenance of the equipment required to remove watches, rings and other metal jewelry. Even with disconnected battery the category of condensers at casual grounding of their terminals can result in electric shock or severe burns.

Do not reverse the polarity of the battery connection. The composition components such as the generator, or electronic control units include semiconductor components that can be damaged by incorrect wiring.

When the engine is started by an external power supply, or connect the charger and observe the polarity of the wires.

Never disconnect the wiring from the battery, generator or diagnostic equipment with the engine running.

Do not crank the engine disconnected the generator.

In no case does not check the availability of the output voltage of the generator by grounding of its terminals.

Do not use to check the conductivity in the chain ohmmeters equipped manual dynamo.

When performing any work on the maintenance of electrical equipment, make sure that the battery has been disconnected the negative lead.

Before using the electric-arc welding without fail disconnect the battery and generator components such as PCM systems supply / ignition to avoid the risk of damage.
