Removing and installing the generator



The design of the generator (models 1993 and 1994 issue.)

Models 1993 and 1994 Vol.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The generator design is shown in the illustration.
2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.

If installed on the car stereo is equipped with a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

3. Poddomkratte car and establish it on props. At a corresponding complete set remove protection crankcase.
4. Remove the drive belt (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance).
5. Disconnect the wiring from the generator and the discharge wire.
6. Turn out fixing bolts and separate the generator from the engine block.

7. Install in the reverse order.
8. Do not forget to conclude install the drive belt and connect the negative cable to the battery. Adjust the tension of the belt (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance).

Models from 1995 MY.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The generator design is shown in the illustration.
2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.

If installed on the car stereo is equipped with a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

Poddomkratte car and establish it on props. At a corresponding complete set remove protection crankcase and locker protect the arch of the right front wheel.
3. Remove the drive belt (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance).

4. Disconnect the alternator wiring and outlet wire.

5. Remove the cooling fan assembly from the casing (see chap. System of cooling, heating).
6. Remove the compressor K / V and, without disconnecting the hydraulic lines, slide it to the side.

7. Turn out fixing bolts and separate the generator from the engine block.

8. Install in the reverse order.
9. Do not forget to conclude install the drive belt and connect the negative cable to the battery. Adjust the tension of the belt (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance).
