Pads Rear brakes



Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Raise the rear of the car and establish on supports.
2. Remove the rear wheels.
3. Disconnect the cable of a manual brake from the first bracket, and then from the lever support.
4. Remove the caliper fingers.
5. Remove the caliper body.
6. After disassembling the caliper on the brake pedal is not pressed.
7. Fix the caliper so that the hose is not tensioned.
8. Note the orientation of the side and antinoise plates on stocks (antinoise pads are provided on the car and are located on the upper and lower ends of the pad).
9. Remove the lining.
10. Remove the pads.
11. Remove the spring pins.
12. Check the thickness of the friction linings.
13. If the thickness is at least one less than normal lining or pads are very dirty, replace all the pads in the kit on the same axle.
14. Find and eliminate the cause of contamination.
15. Do not rearrange the blocks to compensate for wear.
16. If the condition is satisfactory pad, then clean them by removing grime and large particles.
17. Clean room for pads in the caliper.
18. Before assembly, check the freedom of movement of fingers in the bracket and caliper as well as the integrity of the rubber covers.
19. Check the seals of the piston, the piston corrosion and traces of leakage.
20. If the pads will vary, the piston must sink into the cylinder, which piston pliers rotate clockwise while pushing in the cylinder.
21. By moving the piston watch liquid level, excess liquid above the mark MAX on the tank must be removed, or a rubber bulb syringe.
22. Lightly grease the plate pads, gaskets and spring clips antinoise special grease.
23. Keep in mind that the new pads are supplied as replacement parts are grease-protection coating and they are not required.
24. Set-protection bracket, pads and linings at the old place (brackets and plates are provided on a part of cars).
25. Install the caliper body. Speaking at the rear of the pad should go into the recess of the piston.
26. If necessary, tighten the piston.
27. Coat the bottom of a support finger fixing structure, wrap your fingers and tighten with the set moment.
28. Check the freedom of movement of the caliper on the fingers.
29. Connect the cable of a manual brake in sequence of return to removal, install the cable bracket and spring clip (if provided). The protrusion on the bracket should go into a recess on the body support.
30. Repeat the procedure for the other rear wheel brakes.
31. Adjust the handbrake.
32. Tap a few times on the brake pedal.
33. Establish wheels, lower the car.
34. Check the fluid level.
35. Before leaving, check the brakes.
