Pads rear drum brakes



Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the drums.
2. Clean the brake shield and drums.
3. Note the location of the front and rear pad, and the adjuster spring between the pads and drums.
4. Remove the pressure spring pads, which press the cap and turn it 90 ?�.
5. Remove the spring pins and remove the caps on the rear side of the brake shield.
6. Carefully post over and remove the pad assembly from the regulator and the handbrake cable.
7. Remove the upper and lower spring pad.
8. If necessary, tie wire cylinder, so as not to come out pistons, cylinder if there are signs of leaks, replace or repair the cylinder.
9. Disconnect the regulator from the front pads and spring.
10. Disconnect the regulator and the spring from the rear pads.
11. Remove the control lever on the front pad.
12. Disconnect the cable from the hand brake lever.
13. Remove the lock washer.
14. Remove the axis of the lever and remove the lever from the back pad.
15. Attach the lock washer handbrake lever to the new block.

A warning

Handbrake lever of a drive for the left and right wheels are different.


16. Lightly grease a special surface shield contact with the brake pads.
17. Set the jumpers on the board and connect the cable of a manual brake lever, making sure the correct orientation of the spring arm. Secure the block by setting the pin, spring and turning the cap.
18. Make sure that the upper end of the block came into the groove on the protruding end of the piston cylinder.
19. Attach the regulator spring to the top of the back pad, hooked spring on the side pads, which faces the shield.
20. Put on the back pad the bottom returnable spring hooking spring on the side pads, which faces outward.
21. Install the front connector and hook the spring pin for the regulator to the back of the pads. Put on the front shoe bottom returnable spring.
22. Shorten the spacer blocks, rotating toothed nut.
23. Lubricate the contact surface struts, handbrake lever and knob with special grease.
24. Adjust, resting into the corresponding slots in the stocks.
25. Check the installation of the controller.
26. Install the front connector in place, secure the pin, spring and rotating cap. The upper part of the pad should go into the groove of the cylinder, and the lower - to focus on the brake shield.
27. Install the control lever on the back pad, so that the lever engages the axle and gear nut.
28. Put the top coupling spring. An elongated portion of the hook in the opening lever knob and short - on the front of the pin block.
29. Check the correct installation of all parts.
30. Rotate the gear nut, pinch pads so that you can put on the drum.
31. Repeat the procedure with the other wheel brake and put the reels.
32. Before leaving, check the brakes.
