Coupling - the basics
The clutch located between the engine and gearbox of the driven member (friction) of the disc, with the clutch cover and the pressure plate clutch hydraulic drive. The actuator includes mainly the working cylinder, pedal, clutch fork and the release bearing. Friction disc consists of two annular friction linings, diaphragm spring sandwiched between the flywheel and the pressure plate by rotation of the motor shaft with PPC is transmitted through friction disc and hub. The clutch pedal is connected to the master cylinder which, together with a fluid reservoir mounted on the bulkhead of the driver. When you press the pedal, the effort moves forward hydraulic fluid in the slave cylinder. The piston in the working cylinder drives the clutch release fork which moves the release bearing Releaser rests on the heel, whereby the action of the diaphragm spring is weakened and turns off the clutch (the input shaft is disconnected from the engine). As the wear of the friction disc clearance between friction and the pressure plate is automatically selected.
Attention!. Access to the details of coupling is difficult, so each time the engine or transmission, inspect the clutch discs and clutch release bearing. If necessary, replace these parts. The friction disc is replaced by a mandatory, irrespective of its condition. |
