The average support - replacement



1. Remove the two nuts support bracket, remove both halves of the bracket.
2. Mark the relative position of the flanges of the front and rear sections of the propeller shaft (photo).

12.3 Fix the propeller shaft and remove the flange bolts of the front and rear sections

3. Secure the propeller shaft and remove the flange bolts of the front and rear sections (photo).
4. Mark the position of the flange relative to the slot on the threaded portion of the shaft.
5. Remove the flange nut universal joint, which straighten raskernennugo of the ring nut (photo), screw the flange bolts and lock against rotation of the shaft section (photo). 6. Remove the flange (photo).
7. Remove the middle bearing using a hydraulic press (press out the middle support and drive in a new recommended service station).
8. When pressing of the middle support, make sure that the letter "P faces the front of the car.
9. Apply a thin layer of grease on the end of an average support and washer. Place the washer in place.
10. Align the flange with groove. Install the flange.
11. Tighten the lock nut and tighten with the set moment, then Tighten by pressing in the crown of the nut into the groove of the threaded portion of the shaft (see photo).
12. Align the marks on the flange and tighten the bolts.
13. Further assembly operations are performed in reverse order. When installing the bracket average support, keep in mind that the joints in the rubber cushion bearing support should be facing up.
