Guides input shaft - replacement



1. Guides is supported input shaft and pressed into the hole in the rear of the crankshaft flange. Status sleeve should be checked whenever the clutch is removed. If there are doubts about the state of the sleeve, it should be replaced.
2. Remove the gearbox (Ch. 7A).
3. Remove the clutch.
4. Clean the sleeve and check the status, highlighting the plug hole.
5. Press out the bushing (see photo).
6. In the absence of a special stripper for pressing off the sleeve, remove the sleeve by a water hammer to fill this hole in the crankshaft grease, carefully removing the air and hit the mandrel inserted into the sleeve. The mandrel diameter shall be not less than the inside diameter of the sleeve (see photo). Remove the plug and remove any grease.
7. Press in the new bushing. The distance from the outer edge of the sleeve to the flange surface of the crankshaft must be A = 4 mm (see photo).
8. Set the clutch and transmission.
