Details of the mechanism of coupling -snyatie, dismantling and installation

1. Increased noise (rattle) when the transmission or clutch slip show heavy wear of the friction disk.
2. Wear coupling strongly depends on driving style slippage when driving will speed up the wear of the friction disc friction drive is recommended to be changed every 64,000 km.
3. To access the clutch, remove the gearbox (Ch. 7).
4. After removing the gearshift grip inspect the outside and check the condition of the diaphragm spring fingers on the clutch cover. If you find any damage (deformation or bending of the fingers), replace the clutch cover assembly with the spring.
5. Gradually, in diagonal sequence, release the bolts until no spring tension (photo). Do not damage the pressure plate. Fix a flywheel from turning by inserting a screwdriver into the opening starter.
6. Remove the screws, remove the clutch cover, pressure plate and friction disc. (Photo)
7. Clean dirt and grease from the pressure plate, flywheel and bearing retainer.
8. Check the condition of the surface of the pressure plate in the presence of her burrs, nicks and scratches. Check costoyanie petals diaphragm spring and palym Check deformation of the petals with a feeler gauge (height uneven petals, photo), ensure that this value does not exceed the limit specified in the Technical Data. If you find any defects, replace the clutch assembly.

9. Check the wear of the friction plate. Replace the disc if the distance from the surface of the friction lining to heads of rivets less than 0.8 mm, or if there is any friction material damage or oil stains.

8. 6 Removing the release bearing
8. 6 Removing the release bearing

10. Check the condition of the surface of the flywheel. If there are slight damage, then grind the flywheel. With significant injuries (damage to the gear teeth, burn marks on the friction surface), replace the flywheel (Ch. 2).
11. If the details of coupling traces of oil, then determine the cause and correct. If oil is detected by the clutch cover, replace the input shaft oil seal.
12. Releaser recommended to replace. Check the wear on the guide sleeve bearing and replace if necessary (see. Below).
13. Before assembling, apply a thin layer of molybdenum grease on the splines of the input shaft.
14. Before installing the clutch friction disc Align the flywheel using a suitable tool or mandrel (photo).
15. Install the clutch basket on the guide pins. Tighten bolts and tighten in diagonal sequence in several stages before reaching the specified torque (see photo).
16. Install the transmission.
