Fuel

CARS with catalytic converters

Engines 55 kW, 74 kW, 92 kW, 110 kW (1.8 L) and 110 kW (2.3 L). Petrol super unleaded 95 octane unleaded normal or gasoline with an octane rating of at least 91.

When using normal unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 91 observed a slight decrease in power.

CARS WITHOUT CATALYTIC CONVERTER

Engine 74 kW. Petrol super unleaded or leaded 95 octane unleaded normal or gasoline or leaded octane not less than 91. The use of a normal gasoline leads to a slight decrease in engine power.

Unleaded petrol must comply with DIN EN 228, and leaded - to DIN 51 600.

If you are at your disposal there is only fuel with a lower octane number than that required for the engine, it is necessary to carry out the movement of the vehicle only with the average engine speed and reduced engine load. Large motor load due to the full pressing the accelerator pedal may damage the engine. As soon as it will be possible, you should immediately top up the fuel tank with enough gasoline octane.

You can unlimited use gasoline with a higher octane number than that required for the engine. However, this does not give any gain in the audio engine power, fuel consumption of any!

Vehicles fitted with catalytic converter should only be operated with unleaded petrol.

Only one tank filling with leaded petrol leads to a subsequent decrease in the efficiency of the catalytic converter.

In the interests of environmental protection, and also vehicles which are not equipped with a catalytic converter as possible to fill with unleaded petrol.
