Positions selector



Located on the instrument panel display, which shows in what position is the selector.

A warning

Never during movement does not move the lever to position "R" or "P". Transmission can fail - there is a risk of an accident!


P - Parking lock

The drive wheels are mechanically locked.

The selector must not be moved to this position only when the vehicle is completely stopped. Before turning on and off position "P" must be pressed the lock button on the handle of the selector. Before turning off this position when the ignition should be further depress the brake pedal.

R - Reverse

Position backing should be included only when completely stopped the car and at engine idle. Before changing the position of the "R" position from "P" or "N" to press the brake pedal and push the lock button in the handle of the selector.

In the position "R" when the ignition burn reversing lights.

N - neutral position (idle position)

In the derivation of the selector from position "N" at a speed of 5 km / h, and when the vehicle is stationary and the ignition switched on, press the brake pedal and push the lock button on the handle of the selector.

D - long advance

The choice of this position is recommended when driving on steep inclines.

Cruise control in position "1" of the selector can not be used.


A warning

With manual switching DESC can go to the position "W", "2" and "1", but switching to a lower gear is automatically only when, after switching is not exceeded the maximum permissible engine speed.
