Check the rear window defogger



PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. When the rear window heater box with visible wires after some time must be free from precipitation or ice.
  2. At malfunction first check the fuse in the fuse box.
  3. If the fuse is OK, check the tightness of the plug to the left and right of the rear window, if necessary, cleaned of corrosion.
  4. If the heater does not work, check the wires to the switch, see chap. Electrical system.
  5. Check the operation of the relays. See section Checking the relay.
  1. If a conductor of a heater is broken, rescue standard silver conductive paint. To do this, clear the area of repair diluent or ethylene.
  1. Place glue on both sides of the cliff with adhesive tape and apply a thin brush with silver paint.
  2. Writing the paint to dry for 24 hours at a temperature of 25 ?� C. You can also use the hair dryer hot air. At a temperature of 150 ?� C for 30 minutes the paint dries.

Do not include rear window heater until the paint dries. Do not use gasoline or other solvents.
