Check the wiper motor



The wiper motor is located in a waterproof housing under the windshield, rear window wiper motor is located in a back door. To check must be removed corresponding cladding. It will be considered the front wiper motor, a rear-window wiper act accordingly.

Check front wiper

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. First, find out whether the motor is defective cleaner or supply voltage. To do this, proceed as follows.
  2. Disconnect the multi-connector on the wiper motor.
With 10/89 vol.
  1. Serve with an auxiliary power cable from the positive pole terminal of the battery. (Negative pole motor is connected to the net via the battery box).
  2. Wiper motor should now work on stage 1 (slow). If it does not work, it means that the motor is defective or the 1st stage.
  3. Connect the positive cable to the terminal and to the left of the terminals. The motor must now work quickly on the 2nd stage.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Connect the positive cable to the battery terminal A, and a lot to the terminal in the plug and check whether the motor.
  1. Then turn off a lot of terminals B and immediately connected to the motor housing. The motor should finalize before the stop position and stop.

  1. Post voltage auxiliary cable from the battery positive pole of the battery to the terminal b. The mass of the battery negative terminal connected to a terminal. B-terminal is located at the bottom left, and bottom right terminal.

  1. Connect the positive cable to the battery terminal and cable weight to the terminal b of the plug and check whether the engine.
  2. Then remove the weight from the terminals b and immediately connected to the motor housing. The motor should finalize before the stop position and stop.
  3. If the wiper motor is not working properly, set the new, see. Chapter heater, lighting, appliances, Section Removal and installation of rear wiper motor.
  4. Connect the plug of the front wiper motor.
