Refitting the wheel brake cylinder



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the brake pads.
  2. Loosen the union nut of the brake pipe on the wheel cylinder from the back side.

This will drain the brake fluid substitute specially designed vessel. Observe the rules for handling brake fluid. See section Bleeding the braking system.


  1. Remove the 2 bolts -1- wheel cylinder on the back of the brake shield.
  1. Remove the wheel brake cylinder.
  2. Close brake hose suitable stopper to avoid greater loss of liquid and the penetration of dirt.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Install the wheel cylinder to the brake shield and tighten the 2 bolts to 10 Nm.
  2. Pull the plug and tighten the cap nut brake pipe with a force of 20 Nm.
  3. Install the brake pads.
  4. Bleed brake system. Thus, usually only enough to pump the cylinder, wherein the conduit tampered. If the brake pressure after pumping floats should bleed the entire system.
  5. Some times strongly press the brake pedal. This regulated rear brakes.
