Removing and installing brake caliper
Withdrawal | - Remove the brake pads.
- Only in the case of disc rear brakes: Fully loosen the cable of a manual brake and disconnect the cable from the caliper.
- If the caliper must be removed completely, unscrew the brake hose to the caliper.
 | Will the flow of fluid. It should be collected in a specially designed bottle. After installing the brake system should be bled. |
- If the brake hose is connected, hang the top part of a support for a wire to the body so that the brake hose is not twisted and tight.
| - Unscrew the caliper from the knuckle (2 screws).

Setting | | - Install the caliper and tighten the two bolts with a force of 50 Nm.
|
 | If the brake hose was removed, screw it. Brake hose when installing should not be twisted. Lay the new gasket and tighten the bolts to 30 Nm. |
- Install the brake pads.
- If the system has been opened, it must be removed from the air. See section Bleeding the braking system.
- For a back support: Connect the cable of a manual brake.
- Install the brake shoes. See the relevant chapter.
 | Several times the brake pedal until it reaches a noticeable resistance. In this way, it sets the parking brake adjustment device. |
- Rear disc brakes: Adjust the handbrake. See Section Adjustment of a manual brake.
