Removal and installation of a brake disk
To ensure uniform braking on both sides, both rotors must have the same surface. So be sure to replace both brake discs on the same axle. Cars up to 9/89 MY. and models of "universal": To remove the front brake discs must contact the shop, as this work requires disassembly of the hub and therefore needs the press, see chap. Suspension and steering system.  | When replacing the brake disc must also be replaced with brake pads. |
Withdrawal | - Remove the brake caliper and hang on the wire connected to the body with the brake hose.
| - Cars up to 9/89 MY. and models of "universal": To remove the rear disc brake to straighten the lock plate with a hammer and chisel and weaken the hub nut.

 | On the left side of the hub nut has a left-hand thread, it is necessary to loosen rotate to the right (clockwise). |
- Remove the brake disc.

Setting | - Clear the new brake discs from the protective lacquer by using Universal Nitro Thinner.
- Cars up to 9/89 MY. and models "versatile": Swap bearing a new brake disc. Install the rear disc and adjust bearing play Bearing Kit, see chap. Suspension and steering system.
- Cars since 10/89 vol., Except models "versatile": Insert Disc 2 and slightly screw on the wheel nuts to secure the brake disc.
- Install the brake caliper. See section Removing and installing the brake caliper.
