Removing and installing center console



Disconnecting the connectors and wiring from the center console

Removing the gear lever trim from the center console


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove both front floor mats interior.
  2. Remove the external switches and cover by unscrewing the Phillips screws.
  3. Remove the ashtray and frame undock wiring connectors.
  4. Remove the carpet covering the floor, remove the screws that secure the front facing of the gear lever, slightly lift and push the trim switch signal lamp so that it was possible to undock connector.
  5. Remove the gear lever trim from the center console.
  6. Remove the radio.
  7. Remove the heater control buttons and remove the nut.
  8. Remove the heater control knob and remove the cover. Disconnect the light.
  9. Remove the screws from the front of the tunnel and the rear bolts from the center console. Remove the screws and the ashtray.
  10. Lift the rear of the center console and remove the console from the instrument panel, console, supporting the end so as not to split its edge.
  11. Installation is the reverse order of removal.
