Removing and installing tailgate (station wagon models)



PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the lamp lighting the luggage compartment without disconnecting the wiring.
  2. Remove the screws that secure the release of the latches and the back panel facing the ceiling of the body.
  3. When the battery disconnected otmarkiruyte and disconnect the wires from the pads on the roof and free wire bundle clamps.
  4. Depending on the configuration, remove the rear speakers and disconnect wiring.
  5. Disconnect the washer glass tailgate and, depending on the configuration, the vacuum tube of the central locking system.
  6. Supporting the tailgate, remove the snap rings and disconnect the gas-filled stops the door from the hinges.
  7. Mark the position with a pencil and remove the hinge bolts bolts several turns.
  8. With the help of an assistant, remove the bolts supporting the tailgate, and remove the door itself.
  9. Install in reverse order, placing the bolts before labeling prior to tightening. Connecting wires must be such as you are marked. Ensure alignment of the door in the opening and its coordination with other parts of the body. To adjust the door, loosen the hinge bolts and position it so that it is flush with the surface of the body or to deviate from it in the range of 1.0 mm.
  10. To adjust the striker gently loosen its fastening screws and side stops, and then close the tailgate so that it is flush or retreat not more than 1.0 mm from the surface of the body, and then slowly open the door and tighten the screws. If necessary, you can put extra shims under lock and side stops.
