Removing and installing interior door trim panel




Models with sedan and wagon

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn off the door lock button from the top panel and fully lift the glass door.
  2. Release the latch on a plastic box window handle, slide it to the handle and remove the (only for doors with mechanical lifter).
  3. Note the position of the handle and remove it along with the cover plate (only for doors with mechanical lifter).
  4. Pull out of the slot and remove facing the inside door handle. At the door, disconnect the power window switch.
  5. Remove the frame (one screw), then turn the upper screw fastening the armrest.
  6. Remove lower fastening screws and remove the armrest.
  7. Remove the two screws and remove the liner lock.
  8. On the back of the door, remove the ashtray, lift and remove the emphasis nest ashtray.
  9. Use a screwdriver with a wide blade, disconnect the trim panel from the door. Insert a screwdriver about latches to avoid damaging the upholstery.
  10. Remove the trim panel from the upper latch and remove it from the door. At the front door, disconnect the internal hook and rear - release latch near the ashtray.


Models coupe

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the screws and remove the cover from the end of the door of the castle and a small trim.
  2. Depending on the release latch on the plastic insert handle window, relegating it to the hilt, and remove.
  3. When lifted the glass doors mark the position of the window handle, then remove it along with the cover plate (only for doors with mechanical lifter).
  4. Remove facing locking lever (one screw).
  5. Remove the inside door handle trim, remove the screw and remove the frame.
  6. Remove the mounting screws and remove the armrest.
  7. Use a screwdriver with a wide blade, disconnect the trim panel from the door by inserting a screwdriver near the latches to avoid damaging the upholstery. It is necessary to release the panel from the front edge of the additional latches.
  8. Remove the rear edge of the panel latches, while freeing it from the lock lever.
  9. Lift the front of the panel to release it from the inside of the hook and remove the door.


All models

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. If necessary, carefully remove the plastic apron door, trying not to tear it.
  2. Install in reverse order, placing the latch in the correct position before installing the trim panel.
