Steering wheel - removal and installation
Attention. Cars 1996 equipped airbag, which is in a container in the center of the steering wheel. When working close to the inertial sensors, the steering column, dashboard, disconnect the battery cables and wait at least 10 minutes.
1. Disconnect the battery from weight. 2. Remove or disable the airbag container (if any), by contacting the service center. 3. On cars until 1994, unscrew the 2 screws from the rear of the steering wheel (photo), on cars since 1994 of release remove the panel audio signal by undoing the screws Phillips screwdriver at the bottom of the spokes and remove the clamp. 4. Make sure the steering wheel is unlocked and remove the wheel nut. 5. Mark the position of the wheel relative to the shaft (see photo). 6. Extract the steering wheel, wrapped puller bolts into the holes provided s wheel hub on both sides of the shaft (see photo). It does not remove the wheel blows on the hub. 7. Before installation grease rubbing the back of the steering wheel (see photo). 8. Installation is performed in reverse order. Align the labeling, tighten the nut to the specified torque and check for freedom of rotation.
