Removing and installing airbag diagnostic module (ADU)
Installation Details ADU SRS
| - Disconnect the negative battery first, then positive cable and wait for at least 10 minutes.
- Remove the mounting screws, cock the parking brake lever and remove the rear section of the center console (see chap. Body).
- Remove the front section of the center console (see chap. Body) - AT selector lever should be moved to the rearmost position and with the lever switch between the transfer case lever and pull to remove the wiring.
- Press the locking tab and disunite pin wiring right side of the unit ADU.
- Peel back the carpet to the front of the console, release the three fastening nuts and remove the diagnostic unit from the bottom of the front support bracket dashboard.
- Installation is in the reverse order - fixing nuts are tightened to the torque of 15 ÷ 18 Nm.
