Chain tensioner
Arise when working circuit noise can be caused by deficiencies in the functioning of the tensioner. Dismantle and check. If necessary, replace the tensioner complete.

The chain is tensioned by the force of the compression spring (230) and the oil pressure in the tensioner. The contact pressure of the finger (233) to the control bus (215) is kept constant by means of a check valve (227/228) and the pressure limiting valve (227/231), t. E. Independent of engine oil pressure.
