Tensioned V-ribbed belt device



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the hydraulic clutch fan.

A warning

Union nut has a left-hand thread.


2. Remove the fan shroud.
3. Remove the V-ribbed belt.
4. Press the screwdriver locking the lid tension roller.
5. Remove the tension roller.
6. The engine capacity of 2.0 liters: unscrew the pulley the coolant pump.
7. Remove the shock absorber device belt.
8. Unhook the tension spring.
9. Remove the cone bolt of the lever spring tension previously depressing the sealing cap.
10. Remove the lever spring tension, make sure at the same time for the preservation of the O-ring and sealing washer.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set the spring tension arm with a sealing ring and sealing washer and tighten to a torque of 100 Nm
A warning

Clean the threads with a wire brush before installing and coat the sealing (the thread must be degreased).


2. Insert the sealing cap.
3. Hook the tension spring.
4. Tighten the shock absorber tensioning device up to 25 Nm, and at the bottom with a torque of 20 Nm
A warning

If you are installing a new shock absorber, the pre therefrom sure to remove the air. For this installation position repeatedly move back and forth in the piston rod.


5. The engine capacity of 2.0 liters: tighten the belt pulley the coolant pump with a torque of 10 Nm (screw with internal hexagon) or 15 Nm (torsion bolt).
6. Screw the tensioning pulley to 25 Nm (2.0 liter engine) or 30 Nm (engine 2,2 / 2,5). Insert the sealing cap.
7. Install the V-ribbed belt.
8. Install the fan shroud.
9. Install the hydraulic clutch fan.
