Fault diagnosis (DD)



If the engine does not start, it is necessary to locate the fault. For the rotation of the motor must be carried out a number of conditions: the absence of errors in driving; filled fuel tank; normally operating the starter.

CAUSE
REMEDY
Bad start of the engine or it does not run
Errors management startup
Starting a cold engine Turn the ignition until the indicator lamp goes out. Immediately after the indicator lamp goes out, start the engine.
Starting the engine warmed up to operating temperature Pre-heating is not required, the engine starts immediately.
No activation of the preheating Off indicator lamp preheat Check the test light, glow plugs and preheating relays.
Lamp lights glow plug Switch off the ignition. 2 Disconnect the spark plug for cylinder 2-4, turn on the ignition; If the test lamp illuminates, check the relay preheating and replace if necessary.
Faulty fuel system Not supplied fuel Fuel lines (hoses, suction recirculation, injection) kinked, clogged, leaking. Clogged fuel filter.
Shifted the start fuel access Check the start of fuel receipts, adjust it.
Faulty Injector Check the injectors
Faulty fuel pump All cylinders are activated simultaneously Replace the fuel pump.
Starter turns too slowly Charge the battery. Check the electric circuit of a starter.
Too low compression Repair the engine.
Defective gasket cylinder head Replace the gasket.
