V-belt driven by all additional units of the engine. The ribbed V-belt is wider than conventional V-belt and has a lot on the inside of the ribs. The ribbed V-belt is tensioned by an automatic tensioning device consisting of a tension spring, the tension wheel and shock absorber. Shock Absorber provides uniform tension of the belt at all engine speeds. Depending on vehicle equipment, the V-belt has a different length.

| PERFORMANCE ORDER | | 1. Check profiles pulleys for damage and contamination, if necessary, clean or replace the pulleys. At the same time pay attention to the hole in the belt pulley and the attachment points loosened tensioning device. | | 2. If there are holes in the pulley, replace it. Replace tensioner as if shaken bearing mounting. | | 3. The ribbed V-belts having protrusions contamination between the ribs, belts with transverse cracks and the broken ribs necessarily replace. |  | 4. Gently lift the tension roller, turn the back side of the belt so as to form a small loop, and push it between the pulleys coolant pump and the crankshaft. |  | 5. Firmly press the ribbed V-belt to the belt pulley and the water pump pulley while turning to the left (arrow) until the strap rests on the tension roller. |  | 6. Apply the V-ribbed belt on the tensioning pulley and the crankshaft pulley. Then, turning loose of the strap, put it on the belt pulleys of the cooling compressor, power steering pump, water pump and generator three-phase current. |  | 7. With the help of the rod (1) turn to the left tension lever spring (2) until it allows the bolt (3). So carried the belt tension. (4 - a tension spring) | | 8. Tighten the collar nut (1). | 9. Check the tightness of the wedge ribbed belt on the pulleys. | | 10. Replace the hydraulic clutch fan. |
