Check and removal of braking signals
When a failure of both brake light switch is usually the cause of brake. It is located at the top of the brake pedal in the footwell of the driver. When you press the brake pedal push pin comes out of the body switch, switch contacts are closed, in turn, closing the circuit leading to the inhibition signals. When the pedal pin returns to its original location, the lamps go out.
1. Remove the trim in the driver's footwell. 2. Remove the switch connector. 3. Check switch with ohmmeter. When you press the brake pedal his contacts (4 mm) must close the chain. 4. In the switch there is an additional contact (NC). Make contacts near it smaller (2.5 mm). When you release the brake pedal NC contact in the circuit is opened. 5. Remove plastic buffer switch tap it with a screwdriver. 6. Turn the switch and remove. 7. Before installing the pressure pin with the power switch (50 N) pull through. 8. Press the brake pedal and set the switch. 9. Screw the switch until it clicks. 10. Release the brake pedal. The course set by yourself. 11. Check the operation of the site.
