- Open the hood and enclose pieces of tissue under both of its rear corner.
- Disconnect the windshield washer off the tee, release the clamp and pull out the tube.
- Pencil mark the position of the hood hinge bolts and then unscrew the screws a few turns.
- With the help of an assistant, remove the screws, keeping the hood and remove the hood from the car itself.
- Install in reverse order, setting the loop to its original position before tightening the bolts. The hood should be centered with respect to the opening and to be in the correct position relative to the surrounding parts of the body. The lower edge of the bonnet leading edge must be on continuing the line of the upper edge of the cut-outs for the direction indicators.
- To adjust the longitudinal position of the bonnet, loosen the hinge bolts, adjust the position of the hood and tighten the bolts. To adjust the height loosen the lock nuts and rotate to the desired angle rubber stops at the front of the hood, and then tighten the lock nuts.
