Removing the crankshaft and main bearings



Removing the sprocket and chain of custody


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the pistons or, alternatively, remove the crankshaft bearings, if you do not need to perform any operations on the piston and cylinder. Remove the gears and cam shaft (s), front oil seal of the crankshaft and flywheel (a leading disk).
  2. Remove the screws of the intermediate disc from the rear of the engine block.
  3. Release the chain from the front sprocket and remove the crankshaft sprocket, she hooked her arm. Remove the chain.
  4. If necessary, loosen the bracket bolts of the camshaft from the front cylinder and remove the safety (pressure relief) valve lubrication system. Also, if necessary, remove the lower chain guide.
  5. Check the labels on covers of radical bearings and, if necessary, make a new label.
  6. Before removing the crankshaft, make sure that its axial backlash is within the limit. For this purpose, insert the probe between the cheek plate of the crankshaft and the abutment surface of the insert 2nd Bearing
  7. Remove the bolts and easily tapping on main bearing caps, remove them together with the bearing shells.
  8. Pull up the crankshaft from the crankcase.
  9. Remove the bearing shells of the crankcase covers and putting their mark on the mutual arrangement. Also remove the (arm) the top half of crankshaft rear oil seal from the crankcase.
