  1. Remove the heat sink and fan cooling system. Also remove, where required, belts.
  2. With internal hexagonal socket wrench, unscrew the pulley bolts and vibration damper of the front flange of the crankshaft.
  3. Hold the crankshaft from turning, remove the starter by inserting a screwdriver with a broad blade in the flywheel. If the flywheel (a leading disk) is already cleared, insert two screws back into the crankshaft and a lever.

  5. Align the marks on the flange (balancing disk) and the crankshaft flange and remove the stripper. Remove the dowel pins.
  6. Remove the oil seal using a screwdriver.
  7. If necessary, remove the spacer and replace it with a new one.
  8. Clean the gland cavity and install a spacer in place, lightly tapping on it.
  9. Lubricate the oil seal lip slightly, then place it flush in the slot with a metal mandrel.
  10. Set the flange on the crankshaft and lightly tapping, adjusting the fastening pins.
  11. Put the special washer onto the bolt flange, guiding them to the concave surface of the head, then insert and tighten the bolt torque.
