Check of serviceability of functioning and replacement of the gauge-switch of stoplights

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The gauge-switch located on the left on the bracket near the top of the brake pedal, - the right fit the gauge-switch of the speed control. The gauge-switch ensures the inclusion of stop signals in assemblies rear combination lamps at squeezing the brake pedal.

2. Visually make sure of serviceability of operation of stoplights at squeezing of a pedal and turn them off when you release the pedal.
3. If the brake lights are not included, make adjustments to correct the pedal (see. Section Adjusting the brake pedal), then follow the proper adjustment of the gauge-switch.
4. The sensor switch is mounted on the support bracket by the locknut. Loosen the lock nut and turn the gauge-switch in until the clearance between the end of the plunger and its emphasis pedal did not go beyond the range of 0.3 ÷ 1.0 mm (the plunger should be in a free state). Tighten the lock nut and recheck serviceability of functioning of the gauge-switch.
5. If adjusting the position of the sensor-switch does not rectify the situation, therefore, a violation of the power supply to the sensor switch or defect proper assembly. Using a voltmeter or lamp-probe check the voltage on the sensor connector-switch. When the pedal is released voltage should only take place on one of the terminals of the connector at the squeezed out - on both. Faulty sensor switch must be replaced.

REPLACEMENT

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect from the gauge-switch wiring.
2. Loosen the lock nut and remove the gauge-switch of the support bracket.
3. Install in the reverse order.
4. Adjust the brake pedal (see. Section Adjusting the brake pedal), and then, if necessary, adjust the gauge-switch (see. Above).
