Replacing the cable (s), parking brake



Driving the cable laying the parking brake is shown in the illustration.

Driving laying torsovyh handbrake

1 - control lever
2 - Bolt (8 ÷ 11 Nm)
3 - Adjusting nut (3.1 ÷ 4.3 Nm)
4 - Nut retainer intermediate support bracket (8 ÷ 11 Nm)
5 - The right-hand rear section of the cable drive

6 - the intermediate bracket bolt retainer (8 ÷ 11 Nm)
7 - Left rear section of the cable drive
8 - Bolt (6 ÷ 11 Nm)
9 - brake, disc-type
10 - drum-type brake mechanism

The rear section of the cable drive

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make sure of completeness release the parking brake.
2. Support the front wheel chock, loosen the nuts of the rear wheels and then Poddomkratte back of the car and establish it on props.
3. On models equipped with drum brakes rear wheels, remove the brake shoes and remove the drive cable from the executive lever of the parking brake (see. Section Replacement of boots of drum-type brake mechanisms of back wheels). Remove the cable from the end of spring, then otboltite holder sheath from a brake board. Release Rope shield assembly of the brake mechanism.

4. On models with rear disc brakes, remove the lock plate fixing a cable to pribolchennomu to the caliper bracket. Release the cable from the end of the fork of the operating lever.

5. Otboltite all intermediate clamps mounting brackets cable on the frame and suspension elements.

6. Remove thermofilter catalytic converter.

7. Give the assembly just after the equalizer nuts shells cables, release the cables from the terminals of the equalizer.

8. Install in the reverse order.
9. Make the adjustment of the cable parking brake (see. Section Adjusting the parking brake).

The front section of the cable drive

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the central console (see chap. Body).

2. Disconnect the wiring gauge-switch of a control lamp charging the parking brake.

Pin wiring the gauge-switch of a control lamp charging the parking brake (A), the control lever mounting nuts (B) and the bolts of the guide plate (C)

3. Give the cable adjusting nut drive.
4. Remove the two screws from the base of the lever parking brake control.
5. Poddomkratte back of the car and establish it on props. Prop up the front wheel chock and remove thermofilter catalytic converter.
6. Give two nuts just beyond the equalizer assembly and release of the latest tips of the rear sections of the cable drive.
7. In the car, remove the two screws on the cable guide plate and retract into the interior of the front of a cable assembly with equalizer.
8. Install in the reverse order.
9. Make the adjustment of the parking brake (see. Section Adjusting the parking brake).
