Removing and installing sump



To seal sump conventional sealant is used, for example, Loctite.


A warning

Do not apply too much sealant, be especially careful near the bolt holes. Details are to be assembled together for 5 minutes after sealant application. After this time the sealant must be removed and re-applied.


Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the earth cable from the battery.

A warning

This electronic memory is erased, for example, the storage engine fault code or radio. Before disconnecting the battery should read notes in Section 7.2.


2. Lift the car.
3. Remove engine underbody protection.
4. Drain the engine oil.
5. Remove the center beam.
6. Remove the front exhaust pipe.
7. Remove the sump bolts.
8. Drive a wedge into the seal between the cylinder block and the pallet (arrows indicate the location of the seals). In the workshops for this tool is used KV-10111100, which is driven between the cylinder block and oil pan.
9. If the device is not present, you can use an old knife. Carefully drive in the knife with a hammer between the unit and the tray.

A warning

In no case did not pan poddevat screwdriver or chisel, not cutting the pre-seal. When lifting, make sure that was not damaged uplotnitlnaya surface of the oil pan.


10. Remove the oil pan.
11. It is recommended that if you remove the tray remove the strainer and clean the filter it in a cold cleaner.
12. Check the grid damage, such as tears and replace if necessary.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully clean the sealing surface of the pallet and the block of the consolidation rests with the help of a triangular knife and a razor blade.
2. Gently wipe the block, crankshaft gear and oil pump. Otherwise, the seal will drain the oil pan.
3. Screw the strainer with a new seal with a force of 20 Nm
4. Degrease and dry the pan and the mating surfaces of the cylinder. The cleaner can be used as an alcohol or acetone.

A warning

Do not use cleaners that corrode the surface varnish.


5. Insert the new gaskets in both the semi-circular recess in the oil pan, and ends with the two sides cover sealing means.
6. Apply sealant strip width of 4-5 mm around the perimeter of the sealing surface of the oil pan. In this strip, apply sealant between the bolt holes in the groove (1) of the pallet. In the bolt holes (2), apply a strip of sealant to the inside of the tray at a distance of 7 mm.
7. Install the oil pan to the engine block. Tighten the screws by hand first, then crosswise (1 to 15) with a force of 8 Nm

A warning

Wait before pouring the oil 30 minutes to frozen sealant.


8. Install the front exhaust pipe.
9. Establish a central beam.
10. Install the engine underbody protection.
11. Lower the car.
12. Pour the engine oil.
13. Connect the battery weight.
14. If you have set the time on the clock and enter the security code of a radio receiver.
15. Perform a test drive, check the oil level and the tightness of the seal of the oil pan, if necessary, gently tighten all the bolts.
