A warning

After that, the position of the crankshaft and the camshaft must not be changed.

10. Remove the timing belt.
11. Loosen the cylinder head bolts in the sequence of the 3 passes (see. Fig. The numbering of the cylinder head bolts).
12. Loosen all screws by 1/2 turn at a predetermined sequence.
13. Loosen all screws by 1 turn.
14. Remove all the screws.

A warning

The cylinder head can deform or burst, if not the procedure of loosening the bolts.

2. Check for water, oil and fuel hoses for damage and cracks, replace if necessary.
3. Check the valves and valve seats for wear and damage.
4. Install the cylinder head gasket so as to coincide the holes in the cylinder block and cylinder head gasket.

A warning

There cylinder head gasket of different thickness, which are designated by 1, 2 or 3 at the edge notches. If you are replacing only the gasket, be sure to install a new gasket of the same designation. If you replace or repair the cylinder block, pistons, connecting rods and crankshaft, the thickness of the lining must be selected according to the amount of protrusion of the pistons (performed in the workshop).

13. Tighten bolts 1 to 10 with a force of 40 Nm
14. Tighten the bolts 1 to hard key 10 in a single pass at 75 ?.
15. This requires measuring the angles, if this device is not, tighten bolts 1 to 10 with a force of 90 Nm.

A warning

Tightening the screws should be done with great care. Bolts must always be tightened in 5 passes. Before tightening, check the accuracy of the torque wrench. Also be sure to comply with tightening sequence.
