1. Disconnect the earth cable from the battery. |
A warning As a result, the electronic memory is erased, for example, a radio receiver code. Before disconnecting the battery should read notes in Section 7.2.
|
2. Remove the cylinder head cover. |
3. Establish the piston of 1st cylinder TDC. |
4. To this end, establish a transmission in neutral, and tighten a manual brake. |
5. Turn the crankshaft at central bolt in direction of engine rotation (clockwise) to a notch on the belt pulley crankshaft aligned with the arrow on the engine block. |
6. At the same time, the cam must be so that the cams of 1st cylinder have been turned up. |
7. Otherwise, turn the crankshaft 1 revolution forward in the direction of rotation of the motor. |
8. The second possibility of crankshaft rotation: lift the front of the car with one hand, turn the 5th gear and turn the wheel by hand. |
9. Raise the engine gasket with a jack to free the front engine support. |
10. Remove the front console built-in motor. |
11. Remove the V-belt generator. |
12. If there is, remove the V-belt air conditioning compressor and the pumps'. |
A warning After the engine is set to TDC stop the transfer and re-check whether the same mark on the crankshaft belt pulley with an arrow on the engine block, if necessary, adjust. If the labels are the same, in any case does not change the setting of the engine.
|
13. Remove the water pump pulley. |
14. Lock the engine and unscrew the bolt of the crankshaft pulley. |
15. To lock the engine include 5th transfer and ask the assistant to press the brake pedal. |
16. Remove the crankshaft pulley puller usual. |
A warning Hooks puller should engage only the reverse side of the pulley.
|
17. Remove the top and bottom casing of a gear belt. |
18. If you will again use the old belt, it should be marked. On the belt should be felt-tip pen to put the arrow indicating the direction of rotation. The motor rotates clockwise. |
| 19. Turn the tension wheel bolt with a wrench Allen - direction of the arrow (1), and the tension roller with a second key (2) counter-clockwise until the timing belt is not weakened. Tighten the bolt back tension roller. |
20. Remove the side plate of the camshaft sprocket. |
21. Remove the intermediate roller. |
22. Remove the timing belt to the crankshaft gear. |
A warning Do not change more than TDC distributive and cranked shaft. If you want to turn the camshaft at the removed gear belt, make sure that the crankshaft is not in the TDC (otherwise there is a risk of damage to valves and pistons). To do this, mark the position of the crankshaft gear (apply a color label on the crankshaft gear and the engine block). Then turn the crankshaft gear 1/4 turn (90 ?) forward or backward.
