Timing

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the earth cable from the battery.

A warning

As a result, the electronic memory is erased, for example, a radio receiver code. Before disconnecting the battery should read notes in Section 7.2.

2. Remove the cylinder head cover.
3. Establish the piston of 1st cylinder TDC.
4. To this end, establish a transmission in neutral, and tighten a manual brake.
5. Turn the crankshaft at central bolt in direction of engine rotation (clockwise) to a notch on the belt pulley crankshaft aligned with the arrow on the engine block.
6. At the same time, the cam must be so that the cams of 1st cylinder have been turned up.
7. Otherwise, turn the crankshaft 1 revolution forward in the direction of rotation of the motor.
8. The second possibility of crankshaft rotation: lift the front of the car with one hand, turn the 5th gear and turn the wheel by hand.
9. Raise the engine gasket with a jack to free the front engine support.
10. Remove the front console built-in motor.
11. Remove the V-belt generator.
12. If there is, remove the V-belt air conditioning compressor and the pumps'.

A warning

After the engine is set to TDC stop the transfer and re-check whether the same mark on the crankshaft belt pulley with an arrow on the engine block, if necessary, adjust. If the labels are the same, in any case does not change the setting of the engine.

13. Remove the water pump pulley.
14. Lock the engine and unscrew the bolt of the crankshaft pulley.
15. To lock the engine include 5th transfer and ask the assistant to press the brake pedal.
16. Remove the crankshaft pulley puller usual.

A warning

Hooks puller should engage only the reverse side of the pulley.

17. Remove the top and bottom casing of a gear belt.
18. If you will again use the old belt, it should be marked. On the belt should be felt-tip pen to put the arrow indicating the direction of rotation. The motor rotates clockwise.
19. Turn the tension wheel bolt with a wrench Allen - direction of the arrow (1), and the tension roller with a second key (2) counter-clockwise until the timing belt is not weakened. Tighten the bolt back tension roller.
20. Remove the side plate of the camshaft sprocket.
21. Remove the intermediate roller.
22. Remove the timing belt to the crankshaft gear.

A warning

Do not change more than TDC distributive and cranked shaft. If you want to turn the camshaft at the removed gear belt, make sure that the crankshaft is not in the TDC (otherwise there is a risk of damage to valves and pistons). To do this, mark the position of the crankshaft gear (apply a color label on the crankshaft gear and the engine block). Then turn the crankshaft gear 1/4 turn (90 ?) forward or backward.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the toothed belt.
2. Check the belt tensioner on the rust, damage and ease of movement.
3. If you have removed, replace the side plate of the crankshaft gear to the sloped portion faces the engine.
4. Ensure that the distribution and crankshafts are in TDC position of the piston of 1st cylinder. Woodruff crankshaft at TDC points vertically upwards.
5. Screw the intermediate roller with a force of 40 Nm
6. Install the timing belt to the crankshaft gear. This takes into account when removing the deposited mark the direction of rotation. Second hand belt should always rotate in the same direction as before.
7. Tighten the crankshaft pulley with a force of 150 Nm
8. To turn hold 5th gear and ask the assistant to press the brake pedal.
9. Align the white bar on the toothed belt with the mark on the camshaft and crankshaft gear (C). Tags (B) in the toothed belt 43 are spaced teeth (dimension A).
10. The arrow on the toothed belt must point in the direction of the housing.
11. Screw the side plate camshaft gear with a force 7 Nm Pre-coat bolts protective means "Loctite".
12. Loosen the clamping bolt of the belt tensioner to the belt tensioner is pressed.
13. Rotate the crankshaft 2 turns in a clockwise direction, and the belt tensioner give the correct tension.
14. Before the end of the 2nd turn, insert a flat dipstick (1) above, an arrow between the toothed belt (3) and the intermediate gear (2). Probe Size: width - 12.5 mm, length - 150 mm, thickness - 0.3 mm.
15. Tighten the clamping screw the tensioning pulley with a force of 40 Nm while holding the roller by turning the key, otherwise it may fall off the belt tension.
16. Recheck the TDC distributive and cranked shaft. All TDC when stretched, the toothed belt must be the same at the same time, if necessary, repeat the adjustment.
17. Slightly turn the crankshaft counterclockwise and pull out the dipstick.
18. Screw the upper and lower casing with a force 5 Nm
19. Screw for crankshaft pulley center bolt with a force of 120 Nm
20. For fixing the crankshaft include 5th transfer and ask the assistant to press the brake pedal.
21. Screw the pulley the coolant pump with a force of 10 Nm
22. Install the V-belt.
23. Screw the cylinder head cover.
24. Screw the pulley the coolant pump.
25. Screw the front bracket of the engine built.
26. Connect the battery earth cable.

DRIVE pump

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the piston of the cylinder 1 to TDC.
2. Remove the air duct to the air filter.
3. Remove the casing of a gear belt.
4. Loosen the nut of the tensioning roller bent ring spanner and press tensioning pulley with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the timing belt is not weakened.
5. Tighten the back nut of a tension roller.

A warning

To protect the tension roller wrap screwdriver matter.

6. Remove the belt.

A warning

No change at the removed gear belt TDC position of the camshaft and injection pump gear.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the toothed belt.
2. Check the belt tensioner on the rust, damage and ease of movement.
3. Make sure that the camshaft and injection pump are in TDC position of the piston of 1st cylinder.
4. Install the timing belt.
5. Align the white strokes on a belt with the marks on the camshaft sprocket and the injection pump gear (C). Tags (B) on the belt are spaced by a distance A - 23 teeth.
6. The arrow in the toothed belt is to be turned towards the housing.
7. Loosen the clamp nut of a tension roller to belt tensioner is pressed.
8. Turn the crankshaft 2 turns in a clockwise direction, while the tensioner give toothed belt tension is correct.

A warning

Do not turn the engine over the camshaft gear, or be overwhelmed by toothed belts.

9. Tighten the clamping nut of a tension roller with a force of 20 Nm while holding the tension roller screwdriver, otherwise the toothed belt tension can be reduced.
10. Re-check the installation of the camshaft and injection pump TDC. All TDC when the toothed belt tension must be the same at the same time, if necessary, repeat the adjustment.
11. Screw the casing of a gear belt with a force of 5 Nm
12. Install the air duct to the air filter.
