1. Lift up the vehicle and park the vehicle in a horizontal position over a viewing hole. |
| 2. Loosen the drain stopper approximately on half of turn. Place the container for oil plum under a drain stopper and unscrew a stopper completely. If necessary, press a stopper when unscrew that oil did not proceed prematurely. |
3. When oil completely will flow down, wipe all round a drain aperture a rag and reliably screw cap, tightening it to a torque of 30 Nm for 4-cylinder engines and 40 Nm for 5-cylinder engines. |
4. Move the container under the oil filter. |
| 5. Use the special tool HAZET 2171-1, to weaken the oil filter, then unscrew his hand. |
6. Wipe all traces of oil and dirt around the site of attachment of the filter. Check to see whether there was a rubber seal on the cylinder block. If it remains, remove it. |
7. Coat the rubber seal of the new oil filter with clean engine oil and screw the oil filter by hand until it touches the rubber gasket to the engine, and then hand dovintite filter 1/2 turn. |
| 8. Remove the cover from the oil filler cap. |
| 9. Fill the engine with the proper grade of oil. Pour half the amount of oil and wait some minutes that oil has flown down in the pallet, and then continue to fill in oil in small increments until the oil level reaches the maximum level on the dipstick (c). If the oil level is at a minimum (a), with the addition of about one liter oil level will rise to maximum on the dipstick. Close the filler cap (b - normal level). |
10. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check it out for leaks around the oil filter and drain plug on the pallet. Keep in mind that the control bulb of pressure of oil can burn some seconds as oil should fill all channels and oil capacities in the engine. |
11. Turn off the engine and wait at least 3 minutes that oil has flown down in the pallet. Check the oil level and top up if necessary. Check the tightening of the oil drain plug. |
