Checking the front brake pads




A warning

In connection with what is known from experience that the front brake pads on the passenger side worn intensively, and by the brake pad must be made on the right front wheel.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Loosen the bolts of the front right wheel and tighten a manual brake, then lift the front of the car and fix on supports. Remove the right front wheel.
2. Using a caliper, measure the thickness of the brake pads (a). Minimum thickness of brake pads with a bearing plate - 7 mm.
3. If the pad brake pad is worn to the minimum thickness necessary to replace all four brake pads as a set.
4. Establish a wheel and lower the car.

A warning

In accordance with the empirical relation, when run of 1000 km the brake pad wear is 1 mm.
