Checking the liquid level in the steering amplifier



The liquid level in the power steering can be tested in a cold or heated during operation. Instructs to scan the fluid level in the power steering in the cold state.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. In a car that has not been used, with the engine off, set the front wheels for movement directly forward.
2. Remove the cover from the power steering fluid reservoir. Clean cloth, wipe the dipstick located on the bottom of the cover.
3. Screw and then unscrew the cap.
4. Check the fluid level, which should be in the zone A. The tolerance level of the fluid on the dipstick from label MIN ?� 2 mm.
5. If necessary, add a fresh liquid.
6. Do not let a state in which the power steering reservoir will be empty.
7. Screw the lid on the tank of the amplifier of a steering.
8. Make a control trip at which the power steering fluid warms up to a temperature of about 50 ?� C. Check the fluid level, which should be between MIN and MAX marks on the other side of the probe.
