Check the cooling system
The motor vehicle is operated in different climatic conditions and with different loads. The temperature of the coolant, and hence the motor must be controlled and in a narrow temperature range. This ensures that the engine cooling system. As a result of combustion in the cylinders of the engine air-fuel ratio occurs not only torque, resulting in movement of the vehicle, but also a large number of releases heat. Through the jacket of the engine coolant circulates continuously actuated water pump. Malfunction of the cooling system usually results in damage to the engine. If the car is equipped with an automatic transmission, cooling system ensures the normal functioning and long-term operation of a transmission. The cooling system should be checked on a cold engine. Remove the radiator cap and rinse with clean water of its internal and external surfaces. Clean the radiator filler neck. All traces of rust must be removed. Check the upper and lower radiator hoses, heater hoses and smaller diameter. Replace hoses with cracks, ruptures and aging signs. Cracks are easier to detect if to press a hose. Pay special attention to the clamps that hold the hose to the cooling system. Excessive tightening hose clip can cause rupture or puncture of the hose, resulting in leakage of the cooling system are formed. Make sure all hose connections are secure. A leak in the cooling system is commonly found in the form of deposits of white color or rust on the regions adjacent to the site of the leak. To remove insects, leaves, etc. From the front of the radiator and air conditioning condenser use compressed air or a soft brush. Be careful - do not damage the thin cooling fins and not to cut yourself on them. In closing the cover and check the pressure in the cooling system. If you suspect that faulty valve in the lid, and there is no possibility to test it, the easiest way to replace the cap, which is inexpensive.
