Installing and connecting rod bearing

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Clean bed liners and caps bearing the big head of a rod, channels and sockets in the connecting rod.
  2. Install bearing shells in the connecting rods and their covers, inserting the tabs into the slots previously grease-lubricated with oil.
  3. Lubricate the mirror cylinder engine oil.
  4. Put the adaptation for compression rings on the piston of 1st cylinder, then insert the rod and piston in the 1st cylinder. Bring 1st crank pin in the lowest position, carefully insert the piston into the cylinder with the help of a hammer handle, at the same time directing the rod on his neck. Make sure that the arrow on the piston crown facing the front of the engine.
  5. Lubricate the crank pin of the crankshaft, and then set the corresponding connecting rod bearing caps and tighten the nuts. Check the free rotation of the crankshaft.
  6. Install the piston at top dead center and, using a vernier caliper, measure the distance between the bottom of the piston and the top surface of the cylinder head. It should meet the technical requirements.
  7. Repeat for the remaining pistons operations mentioned above.
  8. Place the bottom half of crankshaft rear oil seal into the groove on the housing sump. After installation, the ends of the gland should act to 0.5 mm. Press in the gland hammer handle, grease, and cut it.
  9. Clean the mating surface of the housing and the pallet crankcase and lubricate the sealing paste.
  10. Set the pan on the crankcase housing, insert and tighten the screws.
  11. Install generator bracket and tighten bolts.
  12. Coat sealing paste return pipe oil dipstick tube and install them into the housing of the pallet.
  13. Install the oil pump, crankshaft front oil seal and the cylinder head.
