Check and replacement of brake lines and hoses
Approximately every six months, raising the vehicle, check all hoses connecting steel tube hydraulic circuits with wheel brakes, for cracks, signs of damage containment, traces of leaks fluid, blisters and other damage. Hoses are critical and the most vulnerable part of the braking system, so their inspection should be carried out very carefully - use the flashlight and a small mirror. If you detect any suspicious symptoms suspect the hose must be replaced. REPLACEMENT
Flexible brake hoses | 1. Loosen the wheel nuts, Poddomkratte car and establish it on props. Remove the wheels. | 2. RAMS release choke connector bracket connecting the hose to a rigid brake line. | Release nuts choke connectors to avoid rounding of spline must be carried out by a special ring spanner with a split head. |

3. Use pliers to remove the U-shaped lock and release the hose from the bracket on the frame of the car. 4. To disconnect the hose from the brake caliper, remove the banjo bolt choke connector. Please note that on both sides of the connector installed on the copper sealing washers that the assembly must be replaced without fail. 5. Remove the U-shaped lock and release the hose from the bracket on the front suspension. 6. To install the appropriate thread the hose fitting it into the bracket on the front suspension, and then tighten the banjo bolt choke connector on the support (do not forget to replace sealing washers). After making sure that the locking tab choke connector was in response to the opening of the caliper housing, tighten the banjo bolt with demanded effort. 7. Push the metal holder into the bracket at the front and snap the U-shaped lock. Make sure that the hose is not twisted in the area between the caliper and bracket racks. 8. Insert the hose into the bracket on the frame of the car (again, try to avoid twisting) and connect it to the union of the metal line. Install the lock and E-shaped retaining ring (with appropriate equipment), and then tighten the connector. 9. Bleed the brake caliper (see. Section Bleeding brake system). 10. Replace the wheel, lower the car on the earth and tighten wheel nuts with demanded effort (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance). |

Metal brake lines | 1. When replacing the rigid brake lines should pay special attention to the selection of interchangeable components. In no event should not be installed in the hydraulic path of brake system of copper tubes, unable to withstand the effort developed in the circuits. Try to acquire branded line of steel in the executive offices of the manufacturer of the car - preferably buy already cut to length and equipped with nipple attachments section. 2. Rigid pipes hydraulic lines typically secured along the entire length of a specific place. When removing the line, make sure that it has been released from all terminals. Do not forget to replace defective clips. 3. When installing new steel lines follow the reliability of fixing them all provided brackets, clamps and terminals. Avoid laying pipes too close to the moving components of the suspension and steering gear. 4. When the installation of new sections of the hydraulic lines, check the fluid level in the reservoir GTZ. If necessary, make appropriate adjustment. Bleed the brake system (see. Section Bleeding brake system). Before starting operation of the vehicle, make sure of serviceability of functioning of brakes. |
