Cleaning and repair of the fuel tank - an overview

Perform any repair of the fuel tank and the filler neck shall be entrusted to professionals who have experience in this kind of potentially hazardous operations.

Remember that even after cleaning and rinsing tank it can be explosive fuel vapors that could ignite in the course of repair procedures!

Removed from the vehicle fuel tank should be moved to a place where it will be completely ruled out the possibility of any kind of contact with an open flame. Special care in handling the fuel tank should be exercised in garages equipped with heaters powered by natural gas and fitted with a control torch!
