Removal and installation of the fuel pressure regulator

See. Warning at the beginning of Section Dropping the pressure in the fuel system.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Relieve the pressure in the supply system (see. Section Dropping the pressure in the supply). Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
If installed on the car stereo is equipped with a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for entering the equipment in action!

2. Disconnect the throttle body and the air intake duct assembly with a resonator.

3. Wipe the fuel pressure regulator and the surrounding surface. Disconnect the regulator vacuum hose and fuel return line /

4. Remove the two screws and remove the regulator assembly with the fuel line.

5. Lubricate the new O-ring controller clean motor oil.
6. Installation is the reverse order. Track reliability of a tightening of fixture.
