Removal and installation of assemblage of an air cleaner

Details of the installation of an air cleaner assembly and related components on the models 1993 and 1994 Vol.


1 - bypass air hose IAC valve 2 - mass airflow sensor 3 - The upper section of the air cleaner housing 4 - a clamp fastening of a casing of an air cleaner	5 - The bottom section of air cleaner housing 6 - receiving duct 7 - Cable ties

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
If installed on the car stereo is equipped with a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. Disconnect the wiring from the sensor mass air flow and intake air temperature.
3. Release the latch securing the mass air flow sensor in the inlet sleeve / cavity.
4. Release the retaining clips, remove the top section of air cleaner housing assembly with a sensor measuring the studio Car air flow.

5. Remove the three mounting bolts and carefully remove the lower section of the housing assembly of the air from the engine compartment.

6. Installation is the reverse order.
