1. Relieve the pressure in the supply system (see. Section Dropping the pressure in the supply). With the purpose of relieving excess pressure in the tank, remove the filler cap.
2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.  | If installed on the car stereo is equipped with a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action! |
3. If fuel remains in the tank, pump it with a special kit (ask in shops of automobile accessories). | In no case do not suck away fuel mouth! |
4. Remove the rear seat and access cover assembly (s) of the fuel pump and the fuel flow sensor. Disconnect the cable harnesses (see. Section Check and replacement of the gauge of fuel consumption).
5. Poddomkratte car and establish it on props.  | 6. Disconnect the fittings on the tank supply line and fuel return. |
 | 7. Loosen the hose clamps and disconnect the hoses from the tank filler neck, ventilation and fuel vapor recovery system (EVAP). |
8. Support the tank trolley jack to load paving between the head and the bottom of the tank the last block of wood.  | 9. Remove two of the four bolts of the tank mounting brackets - brackets should fall, hanging on the remaining two bolts. |
10. Slowly lower the tank below the pad sections of the exhaust system and remove it from under the car.

12. If necessary, remove the assembly (and) fuel pump / gauge of fuel (see. Section Removal and installation of the fuel pump).
13. Install in the reverse order.  | In order to facilitate the landing of the hose filler grease tank suction intake clean motor oil. |
