Removal, installation and adjustment of a cable of an accelerator
 | Adjusting hummocks gas and drive Tempostat produced in a similar manner. |
REMOVAL |  | 1. Disconnect the throttle cable and (when appropriate vehicle) Tempostat from the throttle lever. |
 | 2. Loosen the lock and adjusting nut and release the accelerator cable from its bracket. |
 | 3. Under the instrument panel in the driver's pit footswitch disconnect the accelerator cable from the lever of the accelerator pedal, turn the rope assembly bolts to the engine compartment bulkhead. |
4. Release the remaining intermediate clamps torso.
5. Pull the cable through the bulkhead in the engine compartment and remove it from the vehicle. |

INSTALLATION | 1. Installation is in the reverse order. Track correctness of a lining of a cable and tightened it in all specified place.
2. If necessary, promazhte sealant assembly transmission cable through the bulkhead to prevent moisture from entering the interior of the vehicle. |

ADJUSTMENT | 1. Adjust the accelerator cable as follows:
a) Pull the cable, select all his slack ;;
b) Give the adjusting nut until the freewheel lever of the throttle;
c) Give the adjusting nut on the cable 1.5 ÷ 2 turns;
d) Tighten the lock nut;
e) Ensure the completeness of the accelerator opening when squeezing the gas pedal to the floor and return it to its original (closed) position when the pedal is released. Make sure of absence of signs of jamming;
2. The procedure for the adjustment of a cable Tempostat:
a) Make sure the correct adjustment of the throttle wire;
b) Loosen the adjustment nut until the cable Tempostat freewheel lever valve;
c) Give the cable adjusting nut another half turn - turn;
d) Tighten the lock nut and check that the operation Tempostat. |
