Considered in this manual car models are equipped with additional safety (SRS). Before proceeding with any work near the airbag unit, steering column and instrument panel, disconnect SRS to avoid injury at its casual operation (see chap. Onboard electric equipment). Wiring of chain SRS is easy for distinguishing on yellow color of isolation.


The design of the dashboard is shown in the illustration.

Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.

If installed on the car stereo is equipped with a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

Facing dashboard

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the lid of the column cover (see. Section Removal and installation sections of the column cover).

2. Remove the two screws at the top of the lining of the instrument panel. Gently hooking tape wrapped screwdriver, release the tabs and lift the lower part of the panel facing the instrument panel.

On models equipped with speed control, or anti-theft system, facing the corresponding switches are mounted on which the last stage of removing the panel, disconnect the wiring.

3. Install in the reverse order. Track reliability snaps into place.

Knee focus

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the cover from the cabin mounting the fuse box, then remove the two screws located on the bottom edge of the panel knee stops. Remove the thrust assembly.

2. If the stress is removed to provide access to the other components, it is sufficient to unscrew fasteners and lower panel.

3. Install in the reverse order.

The central section finishes

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. hooked tape wrapped screwdriver, remove the central section of the instrument panel finishes with the car.

2. Remove the panel, disconnect the wiring from the switches embedded in it (see chap. Onboard electric equipment).
3. Install in the reverse order.

Glovebox

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Open the glove box and remove the four upper and two bottom screws securing the assembly. Remove the cover of the storage compartment the dashboard.

2. Install in the reverse order.
