Removal and installation of front and rear bumpers



PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Cock a lay brake, Poddomkratte car and establish it on props.
2. Disconnect the battery negative lead.

If installed on the car stereo is equipped with a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action! Disconnect all other wiring, which prevents the dismantling of each bumper.

Front bumper

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the radiator mounted under the bumper and the radiator splash shield.
2. Remove the radiator grille (see. Section Removal and installation of decorative grille). Remove the assembly headlights and direction indicators (see chap. Onboard electric equipment).
3. Release the latches securing bumper cover to the wing panel (see. Section Removal and installation of front wings), then the remaining catches, - try not to damage the paint or polished surface of the wing covers.

4. Working under the car, loosen the bolts of the bumper beam.

The support brackets of the beam can be separated from the chassis by means of giving the nuts with their back side, or removing the insulation lining for access to the front mounting bolts (after bumper covers).

5. Remove the bumper assembly from the vehicle.
6. Installation is the reverse order.

Rear bumper

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Under the car, release the plastic clips securing the lower edge of the rear bumper trim. Do not forget to release the lock and three set out on a platform under the license plate.

2. Open the lid of the luggage compartment and to provide access to the upper bolt of the rear bumper trim Remove the floor carpet upholstery.

3. If necessary, remove the fastening screws and remove the rear bumper beam.

4. Install in the reverse order.
